Installed collection: “Greater Than Those Who Come For Us”

Through four mosaic panels, Ti Dinh captures the necessary and hauntingly similar forms of resistance between the genocide in Gaza with what the same US forces did to her parents’ country of Vietnam. The echos of history

Gốm hoa nâu is a style of Vietnamese pottery from the XXth century. It was short lived but in that span, 3 foreign invaders tried and failed to take control of the land and the people. Because of that, most of the pottery from that time depicts the forms of resistance that drove the invaders away. Brought to the present, Dinh depicts the forms of resistance that will end this genocide in Gaza necessary for a ceasefire, now.
